Slovenia

Hello my students, I am writing you from Ljubljana city, the capital of Slovenia. This is a small country in the southern Europe but it is very beautiful. There are only two million people in Slovenia. Half of the country are mountains and forest.

The weather is very nice, sunny but cold because the temperature is now zero (0) degree. I can see a lot of snow in the mountain. I forgot to bring any sweaters so I have to borrow one from my friend.

Hello from Bangkok

Hi my students.

I hope you are fine and doing well at school. Today I traveled a very long road. I took flight from Hue yesterday afternoon and arrived in Ho Chi Minh city at 5 pm. I got out of the airport for two hours and came back to take 08:30 pm flight to Ha Noi. This morning I flew to Bangkok and now I am waiting for next flight to Ljubljana, Slovenia.

I will come back to Dong Ha next Monday morning and we will meet again in our class the same evening. This is a photo I took when I had dinner at Survanabumi airport in Bangkok.

the Broken Glass

"Let's go, John." said Danny. "It's a snowy day. We can go skiing."
"I can't go with you," said John
"Why not?" asked Amy.
"Because my dad is coming home, and he's going to be angry," said John.
"Why?" asked Danny.
"Look at my dad's glass," said John. "He'll think I broke it."
"Did you?" asked Amy.
"No,I didn't," said John."I gave his that glass. It was his favorite."

"What happened?"asked Danny.
"I went into the kitchen," said John.
"What happened then?" asked Danny.
"I heard a crash and ran back in here,"
said John. "And I saw the glass."

"OK,"said Amy. "Go into the kitchen again."
John opened the door to the kitchen. The
curtain blew across the table. "well, now
we know that happened," said Danny.

The missing glass

Yumi:Wow!It's a snowy day!Let's go skiing,dad!
Dad:Okay!Let's go!but' first,you have to eat breakfeast!
Yumi:Sure!Then we can go skiing!
After the breakfeast,Yumi and her dad go skiing,there're dog go with them...
Yumi:Are you ready,dad?Let's go!
Dad:Wait!Where is my glass?I need it to skiing!
Yumi:I don't know!Where did you put it?
Dad:I don't remember.May be I put it on that rock!But now I don't see it!
Yumi:What else?
Dad:I saw Bi(Yumi's dog) went around it!
Yumi:I think I know what happend!

Linh: Hey Phuong! Come here, we're having a new friend now!
Phuong: Hi? Who's this?
Linh: This is Shara! She 13. She'll stays here for 2 weeks. She's an American.
Phuong: Oh really? Can I make friend with her?
Linh: Sure!
Phuong: Hi Shara!I'm Phuong. Nice to meet you!
Shara: Hi Phuong. My name's Shara. Nice to meet you,too.
Phuong: Can you talk about your self?
Shara: Yes. I am an American. This year I'm 13. I come here for summer vacation.My favorite season is winter, the same with Linh-my first friend here.So what about you?
Phuong: I'm 13,too. But I don't like winter. I like fall.
Shara: Why do you like fall?
Phuong: Because I like windy and cool weather.I don't like cold weather.
Linh:Okay.So do you want to go to the park on Sunday's morning?
Shara:Sunday's morning?I'll be free on Sunday morning? But what are we going to do at the park?
Phuong: Not yet. We'll go to the store to buy something. But I'm sure, this Sunday morning, we'll have so fun!
Linh: Yeah!
Shara: Ok!I'll go to the park on Sunday morning with you!
